Cake appoints Jens Stark as Chief Commercial Officer
Ex Apple, Nike – joins Swedish maker of premium electric motorcycles
CAKE the Swedish maker of premium lightweight, electric motorcycles, today announced the appointment of Jens Stark, as Chief Commercial Officer. Jens joins from a long background with some of the world’s strongest consumer brands, and will lead the continued expansion of Cake’s commercial team globally, bringing the sales organization from start-up to scale-up.
“Having initiated an aggressive global expansion, with local and regional sales teams in our key markets, we are building for a new chapter of our growth. Jens experience and contribution will be paramount to our success,” says Stefan Ytterborn, founder and CEO, Cake.
Jens Stark joins from eight years at Apple, where he held several leading positions in sales and business development. Previous to Apple, Jens had leading positions within sales and business development at Nike and Carlsberg.
“My focus is to create real value for both the company and our customers throughout the journey that is ahead of us. Joining a brand that is already premium, my initial contribution will be to provide leadership and guidance in a constantly changing environment. Setting a clear plan ahead, building structure and processes to support our expanding global organization,” says Jens Stark, joining Chief Commercial Officer at Cake.
Jens Stark is joining Cake on April 18th and will be based at Cake HQ in Stockholm, Sweden.
